DAVID & FIVE SMOOTH STONES

I woke up around 1:30 am to take my pups out to do their business, and a thought popped into my head about King David and his slaying of the big guy Goliath. When I finally got back into bed, I just had to dial up a conversation with my Lord to ask the following question. “Lord, since you know all things, past, present, and future, why did you tell David to choose five smooth stones before he confronted the giant?” You already knew that one smooth stone would be all it would take to do the job. With that question presented, I lay back and waited for the answer. Six hours later, I woke up. Figured I missed the answer because I fell asleep. Then I remembered that God never sleeps or slumbers, and the Holy Spirit is constantly teaching us in our spirit. He is a faithful companion who teaches and reminds us of the things He teaches us in our spirit. Over the next few hours, things became clearer regarding my question. Now that is for another 1-800-HEAVEN posting.
