Lifetime Repair Guarantee

Scope of Guarantee

This lifetime guarantee applies to the repair workmanship performed by Screensaver Chip Repairs on the windshield of the customer's vehicle. The guarantee covers the repaired area for the lifetime of the windshield.

Exclusions

The guarantee does not cover damages resulting from accidents, impact, negligence, or any factors unrelated to the original repair work performed by Screensaver. The lifetime guarantee also excludes crack repairs over 12 inches.

Definition of Repair Failure

Repair failure, for the purpose of this guarantee, is defined as the development of further cracking or spreading of the repaired chip within the repaired area. It does not include the faint cosmetic blemishes left after a successful windshield repair. Please note that a windscreen chip almost never completely disappears once a repair is completed. The cosmetic improvement depends on factors such as the size of the break, type of break, debris inside the break, and time since the break occurred.

Why Repairs May Fail

While we strive for excellence in every repair, there are inherent variables that may impact the longevity of your windshield chip repair. Factors such as temperature fluctuations, driving conditions, and windshield flexing can influence the effectiveness of the repair over time. In rare instances where a repair does not hold, it is often due to these environmental factors rather than a technical error.

Guarantee Claim Process

If a customer experiences a repair failure within the repaired area as defined in ‘definition of repair failure’, they may submit a claim under this guarantee by following these steps:

a. Contact Screensaver promptly to report the issue and provide the necessary details regarding the original repair.

b. Screensaver reserves the right to assess the claim and may request additional information or inspect the vehicle.

c. If it is determined that the repair has failed due to workmanship, Screensaver will, at its discretion, provide a free repair to rectify the issue. In the event that the repair cannot be successfully completed, Screensaver will refund the entire cost of the original repair to the customer.

d. Proof of purchase, such as an invoice or receipt, must be provided by the customer when submitting a claim under this guarantee.

Limitations and Liability

a. This guarantee is non-transferable and applies only to the original customer who received the windshield repair service from Screensaver.

b. Screensaver's liability is limited solely to the cost of repairing the failed area. Under no circumstances shall Screensaver be liable for any consequential damages or costs associated with the repair failure or any other damages to the windshield or vehicle.

c. Screensaver reserves the right to modify or terminate this guarantee at any time, provided that any changes will not affect repairs completed prior to the modification or termination.

By accepting the windshield repair service from Screensaver, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms and conditions outlined in this lifetime guarantee document.
