Travel Medicine and Vaccination
My Family Doc offers travel medicine and vaccination services to keep you healthy and protected during international trips.
We realize providing holistic and comprehensive care is becoming more essential in the daily general practice of Family Medicine. At My Family Doc, we provide pre-travel risk assessment, travel education, and advice to keep you well during your trip.
A determination on the patient’s current health status and health risks based on the specific travel itinerary is reviewed. If indicated, prophylactic therapy and vaccinations are provided (subject to availability). Getting sick while on a trip is not something you want to be dealing with.
Some common concerns with travel medicine include:
Traveler’s diarrhea and parasitic disease
Rash
Motion sickness/sea sickness/dizziness
Malaria and Dengue fever
Typhoid fever
High Altitude sickness
Hepatitis
Sexually Transmitted Disease
Jet lag
