Why We Stand in the Order of Malakyat Tazadak — And Settle the Confusion About Enoch
A King and a Priest in Ancient Times
When most people think of the Bible’s great figures, they remember Abraham, Moses, or King Dawid (David). But there is one mysterious man who changed the entire spiritual order — Malakyat Tazadak (Melchizedek).
Long before Lewi’s (Levi’s) priesthood or Dawid’s throne, the Scripture tells us:
“And Malakyat Tazadak king of Shalam (Salem) brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of Alahayam Most High (El Elyon). And he blessed Abram…”
(Baryashath / Genesis 14:18-19)
In this short account, Malakyat Tazadak stands as both king and priest, blessing Abram and receiving a tithe — showing spiritual authority that even our father Abraham honored.
A Prophecy of an Eternal Priesthood
Centuries later, King Dawid by the Ruach (Spirit) wrote:
“Yahawah has sworn and will not change His mind: You are a priest forever after the order of Malakyat Tazadak.”
(Tehilliym / Psalms 110:4)
This pointed to Yahawashi Ha’Mashyach (Jesus the Messiah) — our eternal Kohen Gadol (High Priest) and Melek (King). He does not rule by human genealogy but by divine appointment and endless life.
Was Malakyat Tazadak a Canaanite?
Many wonder because Genesis says he was king of Shalam (Salem), which is in the land later called Canaan. Some historians, like Josephus and later church scholars, assumed he must have been a Canaanite (a son of Ham).
But the Scripture itself never says this. It leaves Malakyat Tazadak’s ancestry silent on purpose:
“Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of Alahayam…”
(Ibaryam / Hebrews 7:3)
This is by Yahawah’s design, so he could perfectly foreshadow Yahawashi’s priesthood, which is not by bloodline but by the power of an endless life.
Who Started Saying He Was Shem?
Jewish Targums and later rabbinic traditions tried to solve the mystery by saying Melchizedek was Shem, son of Noah, because Shem was still alive in Abram’s day. This was a way to keep the priesthood in Noah’s blessed line.
So over time, people argued:
• Some: “He must be a Canaanite because he ruled in Canaan.”
• Others: “He must be Shem because the priesthood should stay in Shem’s line.”
But the Scripture does not say either. Instead, it highlights that Malakyat Tazadak stands without recorded genealogy, so he is like Yahawashi — appointed by oath, not descent.
Was Enoch (Chanok) a Canaanite?
No — and this is another common misunderstanding.
Chanok (Enoch) comes from the line of Seth, not Canaan.
Genealogy of Enoch (Chanok) Genealogy of Canaan
Adam → Seth → Enosh → Kenan → Mahalalel → Yared → Chanok (Enoch) Noah → Ham → Canaan
So Chanok (Enoch) was actually the great-grandfather of Noah and directly in the line leading to Shem and Abraham.
The confusion often comes from mixing up Kenan (ancestor of Chanok) with Canaan (son of Ham) — two totally different names and lineages.
Keeping Torah & Honoring the New Covenant
At Shiloh In Hebron Ministry, we teach that:
Torah is still holy and good, and under the New Covenant (Brit Hadashah) it is now written on our hearts (Yaramyah / Jeremiah 31:31-33; Ibaryam / Hebrews 8:10).
We keep Yahawah’s commandments by the Ruach Ha’Kodesh (Holy Spirit), not by the old Levitical sacrifices.
Yahawashi said:
“This is my blood of the new covenant, which is poured out for many.”
(Mattithyahu / Matthew 26:28)
So we obey Yahawah’s eternal ways — not to be saved, but because we are saved by Yahawashi, who fulfilled the sacrifices and makes us living Torah-keepers.
Why the Order of Malakyat Tazadak Matters Now
We live in the generation spoken of to Abram, after 400 years of affliction (Genesis 15:13-16). Yahawah is restoring kings and priests, gathering Yasharal (Israel) to prepare for the righteous Kingdom.
Through Yahawashi, we are:
Kings — building covenant communities, making righteous judgments, preparing Tziyon (Zion).
Priests — teaching Torah, offering up spiritual sacrifices, interceding for our people.
Join Us in the Ancient Paths Restored
At Shiloh In Hebron Ministry, we stand under the order of Malakyat Tazadak to:
Teach Yasharal to keep Torah, honor the renewed covenant through Yahawashi, and prepare for the Kingdom to come.
Restore the house of Dawid with righteous judgment and priestly intercession.
