We’re admirers of Apple. They understand that to distinguish their products in the market, they must disrupt the status quo. At SHINE, we take a similar approach we’ve dubbed apples to oranges. We strategize to achieve distinction, to stand out. In the industry’s typical apples to apples scenario, homebuilders compete with one another in pricing and upgrades, which commoditizes new home communities and leads to diminished returns. We found a better way – Value versus Price.

OUR TEAM

Jason Watson and Pete Krebs are the founders of SHINE. Between them, they’ve sold millions in new home sales, opened dozens of new home communities, and sold millions in residential resale properties. Having each spent more than three decades in the housing industry, they’ve seen their way through boom times and market downturns. Through their in-depth experience and passion for real estate, they founded SHINE to shake the status quo and advance the standards of real estate sales and marketing.

Jason Watson

For more than two decades, Jason has been active in the Southern California real estate industry, leading successful sales and marketing efforts for national and boutique homebuilders in addition to running his own company, the OC Homefinding Center (est. 2009). His wealth of knowledge spans market development, forecasting, budgeting, negotiations, pricing, managing sales staff, vendor management, developing marketing and sales plans as well as incentive programs and financing. Having sold thousands of new and resale properties in Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Los Angeles counties, Jason's vision for SHINE is to share his experience, skills and in-depth understanding of the market with homebuilders, property owners and investors to best serve them in today's competitive marketplace.

Pete Krebs

Pete's career started in inside sales, and he rapidly advanced to manager positions in purchasing, inventory and sales where he oversaw six southern California distributor branches for an industrial equipment corporation. Bit by the entrepreneurial bug, he founded a mortgage company in the late 1980s and was integrally involved in sales, managing clients and handling marketing, loan origination and loan processing. During the great recession and the restructuring of the mortgage industry, Pete chose to move over to new home sales and joined Capital Pacific Homes where he sold over 300+ homes and met his future business partner, Jason Watson.
