Karl Larsen is a dynamic entrepreneur and real estate investor with over 16 years of experience building and scaling impactful businesses. Alongside his wife, Brook Kirwin, Karl has launched multiple ventures, including a $20M+ per year sales business within the globally recognized nutrition company Herbalife. He is also the founder of LAKE Academy, a pioneering private school in Northern Minnesota dedicated to cultivating leadership, entrepreneurial thinking, and real-world learning for young students.
Karl recognized a deeper problem many investors face: they don’t just need better deals—they need better systems, better operators, and better execution. This realization led to the creation of The Elite Operator, a framework designed to help entrepreneurs and investors simplify operations, scale smarter, and build real leverage without getting trapped in day-to-day management.
Alongside his real estate and education ventures, Karl also leads The Royalty Life, a community and platform focused on network marketing and personal development. Above all, Karl is a devoted husband and father of two young boys. LAKE Academy is a private school in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, that helps children age five to fourteen bring adventure and curiosity back to their education. We shape the learning journey to build confident, independent learners who challenge themselves to achieve their full potential.
LAKE uses a learner-driven, project-based curriculum that empowers students to take charge of their education and to explore their unique strengths & talents. Located on 22 beautiful acres in northern Minnesota, it's the school I wished I would have attended growing up!
