The Heavenly Vision (Acts 26:15-20)

1. To cause people to see Jesus.
2. To turn people from darkness to light.
3. To assist people in experiencing the power of God.
4. To help people understand the power of forgiveness through the blood of Christ.
5. To let people know the promises they have in Christ.
6. To enable all to see the benefits of living by faith.
7. To teach people to understand the importance of obedience to Christ.

The following are the biblical guidelines that we are using to help shape our lives and ministry.

UNSHAKABLE

(Psalm 62:6, Matt. 7:24-25, John 8:32, Prov. 15:31-32)

Have a solid foundation on the Word of God, and apply its principles to our lives. Be unwavering in our convictions and lifestyle. Proclaim the truth, not our thoughts and opinions. Be teachable, and open to correction.

DREAMERS

(Prov. 29:18, Heb. 11:6, Matt. 19:26, 1 Cor. 10:31)

Share a dream together that demands trust and faith in the Lord. Be innovative; planning, preparing, and believing that with God, all things are possible. Have a vision that goes beyond ourselves and make our goal to give God all the glory.

PASSIONATE

(Eccl. 9:10, Col. 3:17, Gal. 1:10, Neh. 8:10)

Be passionate about everything we do. Make wholehearted worship and prayer our lifestyle. Purpose to give God our best. Don’t be men pleasers, but rather God chasers. Let the joy of the Lord be our strength and the anchor for our walk.

FAITHFUL

(James 1:7-8, Ps. 15:4, Luke 16:10-11, Rom. 8:14)

Be accountable for our decisions and our walk with God. Keep our word at all cost. Be people of character; stable and consistent in all that we do, faithful even in the little things. Do not be moved by our emotions, opinions, or the trends of the world but instead be led by the Holy Spirit.

DISCIPLINED

(Ps. 42:1-2, Phil. 3:13-14, 1 Cor. 9:24-27, Matt. 25:14-23)

Stay active in our pursuit of God. Purpose to not allow ourselves to become complacent or comfortable, but instead keep pressing through even when things are hard. Choose to crucify our flesh daily and die to the desires of the world. Be good stewards of all that God entrusts to us.

SERVANTS

(John 3:30, Matt. 20:26-28, Phil. 2:3, James 1:19)

Maintain a servant’s heart, and value the needs of others. Help those around us achieve their goals and dreams. Choose to see every person as equal, and treat them accordingly. Be quick to listen and slow to speak. Never pursue personal gain.

DISCIPLERS

(Matt. 28:19, Rom. 12:21, Matt. 5:13-16, Rom. 1:16)

Keep fulfilling the Great Commission, and attempt to make a deposit every time we are around others. Constantly be developing and nurturing relationships with both believers and unbelievers. Stay committed to the task of becoming world changers; lovers of God who are not ashamed, but intentional in our evangelism.

Articles Of Faith

• We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
• We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
• We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
• We believe that for the salvation of the lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential and that this salvation is received through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and not as a result of good works.
• We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life and to perform good works.
• We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
• We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

What We Believe

• We believe Jesus Christ to be the only begotten son of God and Savior of the world. (John 1:14, John 3:16)
• We believe that salvation is only made possible by the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God. (John 1:29, Acts 4:12)
• We believe that entry into the Kingdom of God is possible only through the born again experience. (John 3:1-9, 1 Peter 1:2)
• We believe in water baptism by immersion in obedience to the commandment of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:19, Acts 8:36-39)
• We believe in the sanctifying power of the word of God. (John 17:17, 1 Peter 1:2)
• We believe in the biblical financial system, tithes and offerings, established by God under the Old Covenant, which was governed by law (Malachi 3:10) and reaffirmed by Christ in the New Covenant, now governed by love. (Matthew 5:17, 23:23)
• We believe in the spiritual gifts as recorded in 1 Corinthians 12:7-10 and Romans 12:6-9, as well as the five gifts of ministry in Ephesians 4:11.
• We believe that it was God who originated the marriage relationship. Marriage between a man and a woman is designed by God as a picture of the relationship between Jesus Christ and the Church. (Matt. 19:4-6, Mark 10:6-9, Ephesians 5:3-32)
• We believe in the whole word of God, both Old and New Testament, the New Testament being our rule of government and practice. (2 Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 9:15)
• We believe in Bible prophecy so long as it’s rightly divided. (2 Peter 1:19-21, 2 Timothy 2:15)
• We believe in the soon return of Jesus Christ to the earth to establish His kingdom over all other kingdoms of the world. (Rev. 11:15, Rev. 5:9-10)
• We believe in the resurrection of eternal life that takes place at the sound of the trumpet; some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. (John 5:28-29; 1 Cor. 15:52; 1 Thess. 4:17)
