I’ve spent over a decade in the classroom, guiding more than 250 students toward academic success. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Prairie View A&M University and am certified by the Texas Education Agency in two areas: Early Childhood through 4th Grade instruction, and English Language Learner support across all levels. I know what young learners are expected to master—and I love using creative, research-backed strategies to help them get there.

In 2020, everything changed. While working full-time in a corporate role, I found myself juggling remote work and virtual schooling for my first-grade daughter. Despite my background in education, I quickly realized how overwhelming it could be to provide the enrichment and support she truly needed. That experience sparked something deeper—and Aligned Tutoring was born.

At Aligned, we call our students “curious learners” because we believe education should be a lifelong pursuit, not a checklist. I’m passionate about exploring new teaching methods, nurturing each child’s natural curiosity, and equipping families with practical tools to support their children’s growth. Whether a student is catching up, keeping pace, or reaching ahead, I’m here to help them thrive—and to make learning feel joyful, empowering, and personal.
