Gigi Iacovelli helps horse owners confidently train and ride their own horses by building clear communication, trust, and understanding. With more than 20 years of teaching experience, she has guided over 300 students in identifying and resolving gaps in their horse’s training, leading to stronger partnerships and lasting progress.

Gigi works one-on-one with you and your horse to uncover the roadblocks that may be limiting your success. Each program begins with a thoughtful evaluation of both horse and rider, followed by a customized plan designed to support steady improvement. You’ll learn how to recognize training gaps, address challenges effectively, and develop skills that empower you to solve problems independently—all while keeping your relationship with your horse at the heart of the process.

Her teaching emphasizes learning how to think like a horse, helping riders answer common questions such as: Why did my horse do that? How can I get my horse to…? How can I stop my horse from…? Through groundwork-based learning and supportive riding instruction, Gigi meets you and your horse at your current level while offering clear guidance and practical tools for growth.

Gigi has been a 3* Parelli Natural Horsemanship Instructor since 2009. Her horsemanship background spans more than 40 years and includes owning and training horses, competing in United States Dressage Federation dressage shows and United States Eventing Association horse trials, fox hunting, volunteering with local horse rescue organizations, and managing her own horse farm. She continues to advance her education each year by riding directly with Pat Parelli and other advanced-level trainers.
