DMA Access is a dental membership program that provides members with access to all general dental services, with selected services provided at no fee and all other eligible treatments offered at reduced member pricing while membership is active.
DMA Access is not dental insurance. However, it may be used alongside private dental insurance where applicable.
While membership is active, the following services are provided at no out-of-pocket cost, subject to clinical suitability:
Comprehensive dental examinations
Standard dental X-rays
Standard dental cleans
No-fee services must be provided at DMA-participating clinics and in accordance with clinical guidelines.
All general dental services are fully available to DMA Access members and provided at reduced member pricing, including but not limited to:
Fillings
Extractions
Root canal treatment
Periodontal (gum) treatment
Emergency dental care
Restorative and surgical procedures performed by a general dentist
All treatment plans and fees will be clearly explained and approved by the patient prior to treatment.
DMA Access does not include:
Implant dentistry, including implant placement, implant-supported restorations, and related surgical procedures
Specialist dental services, where the dentist refers the patient to an external dental specialist (including but not limited to oral surgeons, orthodontists, periodontists, endodontists, or prosthodontists)
These services may still be accessed outside the DMA Access program and will be charged separately at the provider’s standard or specialist rates.
To ensure fair and sustainable use of the program, waiting periods apply from the membership start date:
Minor dental procedures: A 2-week waiting period applies before reduced member pricing can be accessed.
Major dental procedures: A 4-week waiting period applies before reduced member pricing can be accessed.
No-fee services (examinations, standard X-rays, and standard cleans) may be accessed during the waiting period unless otherwise advised by the clinic.
Waiting periods apply to new memberships and may reset if membership is cancelled and later reactivated.
DMA Access may be used in conjunction with private dental insurance.
Membership pricing reduces the clinic’s standard fees (for example, a service normally priced at $250 may be reduced to $99 for DMA Access members).
Where eligible, patients may submit claims to their private dental insurer.
Insurance rebates are determined solely by the insurer and the patient’s individual policy.
DMA Access does not guarantee rebate amounts or insurer acceptance.
Patients are responsible for confirming eligibility and rebate details with their insurer
Membership fees are billed fortnightly at $39.
Membership fees are non-refundable, except where required by law.
Membership fees do not contribute toward, offset, or credit any dental treatment costs.
DMA Access operates similarly to a gym membership: fees provide access to program benefits and member pricing while the membership remains active, not pre-payment for dental treatment.
Failure to maintain payments may result in suspension or termination of membership benefits.
Appointments are subject to clinic availability.
Standard cancellation and no-show policies apply.
Missed appointments may result in forfeiture of no-fee services.
Membership remains active only while payments are current.
Patients may cancel their membership in accordance with the clinic’s cancellation policy.
Any unused no-fee services are forfeited upon cancellation or expiry of membership.
DMA Access membership is personal and non-transferable. Benefits cannot be shared, assigned, or transferred to another individual.
All dental services are subject to professional clinical assessment and judgment. Membership does not guarantee suitability for any specific treatment or override clinical recommendations.
DMA reserves the right to amend included services, exclusions, pricing, waiting periods, or these Terms & Conditions with reasonable notice. Changes will apply prospectively.
DMA Access does not replace comprehensive dental care. DMA and its providers are not liable for outcomes resulting from declined, delayed, or excluded treatment decisions.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which dental services are provided.
By enrolling in DMA Access, the patient confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
