Our Journey
Execubook was started in 2024 by Jenny (Mazer) Lauderdale, CPA. With over 14 years of experience between Big Four public accounting, working in private equity, sitting on the boards of multiple nonprofits, and helping her friends and family with their accounting and business strategies, Jenny often saw the obstacles faced by smaller to medium sized businesses. Jenny wanted to create a firm that offered services from staff and CFOs that have wide industry breadth, but also deep experience and knowledge from staff who have seen and lived through the growing pains of companies going from good- or even struggling- to become great, efficiently run organizations. Jenny herself has been a small business owner and real estate investor for many years and is able to understand the value of the CFO support for business facing complexity, uncertainty, and growth.
