FASCIAL MOBILIZATION
Also known as Graston, fascial mobilization involves a therapist “massaging” your skin with bladelike objects that do what your foam roller can’t, pressing the skin ultra-close to the fascia. That lets the therapist more directly affect this tissue.
This helps you recover faster than you would by simply foam-rolling, which is why Graston is popular among pro athletes and bodybuilders. Graston therapy can loosen tight joints and muscles relatively quickly, especially if you're only slightly out of alignment.
It works especially well for tight shoulders if your shoulders are rolled forward because of pectoral tightness.

Muscles have different fibers and as fibers become tight they build up toxins. With the Graston technique, a stainless-steel instrument and a special massage technique are used to identify areas of adhesion that can be improved. The instrument and massage are used in combination to stretch and relax the muscle tissues. This helps increase blood flow and restore movement patterns in injured tissues.
