Meet Our Founder
XPRT2ND was founded by Joe Simon, DPT. Joe has spent years in orthopedic care, working alongside surgeons and guiding patients through recovery. He understands surgery and respects the role it plays in restoring mobility and quality of life.
When his own brother was told he needed surgery, however, the situation felt different. The question wasn’t distrust — it was clarity. Even with clinical knowledge in the family, getting structured, timely confirmation wasn’t simple.
That experience led to a clear realization: patients shouldn’t have to navigate major surgical decisions without fast, independent access to expert perspective. XPRT2ND was built to support that need, helping patients feel confident in their surgical decisions — whether that means moving forward prepared or simply gaining reassurance before taking the next step.
