Elizabeth used to think she knew dogs. She grew up with a dog who survived a debilitating brain disease, has volunteered with several shelters across multiple organizations and even co-authored legislation to protect fighting dogs in Indiana. All her experience couldn’t help however when she adopted her reactive dog, Luna. Fortunately for Elizabeth, all her neighbors recommended the same trainer.

After Luna’s 9-Week training program ended, Jesse and Elizabeth continued to spend time together and the rest, as they say, is history. Now we like to think they’re the city’s best (only?) pup-oriented power couple: The Chicago Dog Whisperer and That Loud Blonde Gal Who Loves Dogs. In September of 2021, Elizabeth came to Canine Perspective full time to help run the now booming business Jesse has developed and grown. She is continuously impressed with the unique structure he created for all dogs, particularly the special ones like Luna who aren’t candidates for regular daycare.

Hoping to add more benefits for the CP pack, Elizabeth applied her passion for health and wellness to the ever-evolving field of canine nutrition and holistic alternatives. If you’ve seen the before and after pictures of Lexxi and Poncho or had a consultation with Elizabeth already, you can see how much her passion has paid off! Elizabeth will continue to offer complimentary wellness consultations for our pack into 2023 and work to grow our retail store here at the facility.

When she’s not hanging in the retail room or giving the daycare clients new treat samples, Elizabeth is cooking healthy meals for Jesse at home or buried in a good fantasy novel.
