Where Your Personal Power Lives
Ever feel like you’re doing everything “right,” but something still feels… off? Maybe you’re smiling and nodding while secretly begging your nervous system not to short-circuit. Or you’re saying yes when what you really mean is absolutely not—I do not have the capacity for that today.
That tension you feel—that inner wobble—isn’t random. It lives in your Solar Plexus, also known as your third chakra—your energetic center of personal power.
If you’re new to chakras, don’t worry—no incense or Sanskrit degree required. Think of chakras as energy hubs in your body, each responsible for different aspects of your life. The third chakra sits right between your ribs and your belly button, and it governs things like:
Confidence
Self-trust
Personal boundaries
Willpower
How safe you feel being seen
Whether you stand in your truth—or shrink to keep the peace
When this chakra is strong, you feel grounded in who you are. Your “no” is clean. Your “yes” is wholehearted. You don’t need to explain, justify, or over-apologize—you just live aligned.
But when it’s wobbly? Ohhhh, you feel it.
A wobbly boundary can feel like:
Anxiety in your gut before a hard conversation
That sticky pressure in your chest when someone pushes past your comfort zone
Feeling responsible for everyone else’s emotions
Being easily guilt-tripped or talked out of your needs
Saying, “It’s fine,” when your soul is screaming, “It is absolutely NOT fine”
And here’s the deal: this isn’t a character flaw—it’s just information. Your energy is talking to you before your mouth ever does. This is why boundaries aren’t just emotional or verbal—they’re energetic. People can feel where your boundary actually lives, even if your words are polite and pretty.
The good news? Your third chakra—your power center—is never broken. It just needs healing and strengthening. When your energy is steady, boundaries stop being confrontational—and start feeling natural.
Because your voice isn’t the first boundary you set—your energy is.
Invitation: This week, pay attention to how your body responds in boundary moments. Where do you feel it first—your gut, chest, jaw, shoulders? Simply notice. Awareness is the first step toward healing.
You’ve got this, my powerful friend.
