This tour takes you to Óbidos, one of the best-preserved medieval villages in Europe. It is believed to have been founded by the Celts around 308 BC, resisted the Phoenicians and was eventually conquered by the Romans, who considered it a “place of the first order”. During the visit, you’ll explore the walls, narrow streets, flower-decked white houses and taste the famous ginjinha served in a chocolate cup.
Town Entrance / Town Gate
The starting point of the experience, where the iconic tiled gate welcomes you and opens the way to the fortified town.

Historic Streets of Óbidos
Colorful alleys, flower-decked windows and small craft shops. An authentic route that takes you to the heart of the medieval town.

Óbidos Castle (Exterior)
One of the seven wonders of Portugal, the castle rises imposingly at the top of the hill, offering magnificent views over the entire region. With prior reservation, there is even the possibility of having lunch inside the castle, where you can enjoy delicious Portuguese cuisine—made even more special when served in a medieval and romantic setting.

Ginjinha of Óbidos
A must-try moment: savor the traditional Ginjinha of Óbidos, a delicious liqueur served in a chocolate cup — an irresistible symbol of the town that combines sweetness with cultural richness.

Walls of Óbidos
For the more adventurous, walking along the walls is a unique experience, with wide views over the town and the surrounding fields.

Sintra and Cascais: A Fairy Tale!
Thank you so much, you made our day special 😊
An Unforgettable Experience in Lisbon!
We did the full-day tour to Sintra and Cascais and it was, without a doubt, the best part of our trip to Portugal! The comfort of the electric car made all the difference on the climbs and descents of the hills. Luis Miguel is a true expert on Sintra — he knew exactly when to visit each palace to avoid lines and recommended the best places for photos and a perfect lunch in Cascais. Impeccable service; a personalized tour full of high-quality information. For Brazilians, it’s the right choice!

Thank you so much, you made my birthday so special. 🍰🎉 We are very grateful to have met you and hope to see you again either in Canada or here one of these days!

Booking the private tour in an electric car with Lisbon Booking Tours was, without a doubt, the best decision of our trip. Our guide, Luis Miguel Franco, was extremely knowledgeable, sharing fascinating historical context and very interesting local information. The vehicle was clean and comfortable — a great advantage for navigating the narrow streets of Alfama, Graça and Belem. We gained a genuine and personalized perspective of Lisbon. For an authentic, stress-free, high-quality experience, we highly recommend it!

“Thank you very much for everything, Jorge.”
Thank you very much for everything, Jorge. You are a very good person. Next time we go to Lisbon, the first person I’ll call is you.

“I discovered Lisbon with true Lisbon locals”
Seeing Sintra and Cascais with Luis and Jorge was one of the best parts of the trip. Unforgettable!
