How old do I need to be to rent an RV?
We require all valid licensed drivers to be 25 years of age minimum.
What systems require generator use?
The generator is required for running the 15,000 BTU air conditioning, microwave/oven, charging house batteries, and required for the use of certain electrical plugs. In addition, TVs, radio, heater, refrigerator/freezer, lights, and other systems can run on house batteries and/or propane gas.
Do you accept international drivers?
Yes, we accommodate valid international licensed drivers who are 25 years of age minimum. The is an additional nominal charge for international driver verification.
Do I need to bring my own bed sheets, pillows, and wash towels?
No, we provide these amenities at no charge.
Do I need a special license to drive an RV?
No special driver's license is required. All valid licensed drivers, 25 years of age or older, can drive our RVs.
How does RV insurance work?
Insurance is required for all rentals. We offer insurance options for purchase through a third-party insurance provider or use of your own insurance via an insurance binder (please call for more details). Insurance options for purchase include:
- Basic: State minimum liability, property damage coverage up to $100K, and windshield coverage
- Essential: State minimum liability, property damage coverage up to $150K, windshield coverage, and 24x7 roadside assistance
- Peace of Mind: Up to $1M liability coverage, property damage coverage up to $250K, windshield coverage, and 24x7 roadside assistance
Do you accept first time RVers?
Yes, we specialize in renting to first-time RVers. We were all first-timers at some point. We are happy to walk you through all the RV systems so that you feel comfortable and safe on your journey. We are also available through voice call or text 24/7 to answer any questions while on your adventure.
How much fresh water do the tanks hold?
Our freshwater tanks hold 32 gallons. This would last 2-3 people a few days, conserving water during daily showers.
Do you allow for one-way rental?
Yes, we’d be happy to discuss your plans to see how we can best accommodate them. There is a service fee of $3 per mile for retrieval. This covers travel expenses, fuel, number of return days with lost rental, and other overhead costs. Please arrange one-way travel at booking.
How many miles are included during the rental period?
Rentals include 125 miles per night. Any additional miles would be charged $0.35 per mile. This may vary based on RV year/model.
What are the pickup and drop off times for RV rentals?
Our general pickup times are 11:00 AM, and return drop-off time is 3:00 PM. Please make any special arrangement at booking, or late fees may be applicable.
Can I drive the RV to Canada or Mexico?
At this time, our insurance only provides coverage through Canada. Given we have no insurance option for Mexico, travel across the southern border is prohibited.
Do you deliver the RV to my residence?
Yes, we offer door-to-door service at $1.50 per mile for round trip miles.
How many amps does the RV use?
Our RVs are equipped with 30-amp electrical service.
