Your Services: Divorce Without Drama

If you are married and have a breakup, you need to obtain a divorce to draw a line under your past and make a new future.

Divorce is the process of formally ending your legal relationship, which you should do after living separately for 12 months. You cannot do so until you have been separated for a period of 12 months, (although this can include a period under the same roof.)

Divorce proceedings are usually straightforward, but can be tricky if

complications arise. The Court requires proceedings properly and according to Law. So it is well worthwhile working with me as your legal adviser to do it for you and with you. And it usually isn’t very expensive.

information necessary to obtain your Divorce.

I’ll then send you a Costs Agreement as to Divorce and request an initial payment of $880, which will cover most of the legal work, assuming there are no complications. Please note though, that there will be court fees payable in addition.

I’ll make the application on the Court portal and arrange for documents to be sworn, filed and served, and do everything necessary to obtain the Divorce. It generally takes 3 to 4 months to complete.
