Marjolaine R. Blake brings over a decade of legal experience to The Diggs Law Firm, where she has been an integral part of the team since 2017. With a career that began at one of the nation's most prestigious law firms, Ms. Blake is dedicated to guiding clients through every step of the legal process with clarity and compassion.
From Big Law to Family Law
Ms. Blake began her legal career in 2011 at Kirkland & Ellis, one of the largest and most respected law firms in the world, where she served as a Project Assistant and Litigation Paralegal. The experience she gained there laid a strong foundation for her career in litigation and advocacy.
Since joining The Diggs Law Firm as a paralegal in 2017, Ms. Blake has grown into an Associate Attorney with a focus on divorce, custody, and spousal maintenance litigation. She is committed to providing clients with the information they need to protect themselves and their families, and she leverages her extensive experience to advocate for her clients across Chicagoland courts.
Now an Associate Attorney, Ms. Blake's dedication to family law and litigation continues to be a cornerstone of her practice, where she combines strategic advocacy with an unwavering commitment to her clients.
Academic Background
Ms. Blake holds a dual Bachelor's degree in History and Political Science, with a minor in Asian Studies, from Loyola University of Chicago. She earned her Juris Doctor from UIC School of Law in December 2023.
