In 2012, I moved into a home with a large, 100 ft deep backyard. With two dogs who used the doggie door to relieve themselves, there were landmines everywhere. I was afraid to walk in my own backyard! I searched at pet stores for something to allow me to pick up multiple messes, but didn’t find anything. That’s when I started thinking, there must be a better way. I wanted something dual-purpose. I wanted something easy to use to pick up after my dogs and avoid multiple trips to the garbage can. Some kind of weekly storage system.

PooPail was something I developed over the course of 10 years, and in 2021, I successfully launched a crowdfunding campaign to bring it to life. By the end of 2022, every PooPail had been delivered to backers. About six months later, I sent a survey to all backers asking what they loved about the product, what they didn’t, and how they thought it could be improved. Using that feedback, I redesigned PooPail to make it easier to assemble, sturdier, and more visually refined. This is the version of PooPail I’m proud to sell today, shaped not only by my vision, but by real feedback from the people who use it every day. I hope it makes life with your dogs a little cleaner, easier, and more enjoyable.
