Her extensive expertise as a business strategist, brand marketing and positioning expert has earned her multiple awards, including the iconic Purple Cow award by Seth Godin.
She kicked off her corporate career at 19 at a top Silicon Valley Brand Marketing & PR Agency, climbing the ladder of success in Silicon Valley, where she worked with some of the world‘s top agencies and companies, leading the generation of over $750 million for the organizations she’s worked with. In 2001, Kelly launched her own consulting firm and was immediately recognized by high-growth tech clients, who sought her guidance in developing market positioning, brand amplification and public relations strategies.
Today, she is the founder and CEO of a mission-driven, multi-million-dollar conglomerate and is leading nine organizations encapsulating 25 brands, with over $100 million of brands under management. She and her companies serve premium brands targeting affluent clientele, with the ultimate goal of not just building highly profitable and efficient 7-9 figure businesses, but also becoming undisputed market leaders… all to support the purpose of helping her clients to create EPIC businesses so they can live life on their terms.
It’s no surprise that she's a contributor to prestigious publications including Forbes and Entrepreneur, and has appeared in over 1000 media interviews including The Wall Street Journal, Fortune, NBC, and ABC, and has shared stages with multiple icons in the business development industry, such as Zig Ziglar, Tony Robbins or Jack Canfield (just to name a few). Kelly is also a celebrated author with her next book "The Fusion Principle" out in 2024.
As the host of the EPIC AF Podcast, Kelly discusses topics that range from innovation and business strategy, to redefining entrepreneurship and has candid conversations with entrepreneurial geniuses who are breaking the rules and elevating industries.
What may surprise people the most about Kelly is her superpower to keep it real in a world that often doesn’t. If you bump into her at a local dog park, hot vinyasa class, or farmers market, you'll probably see her in jeans and flip-flops, sporting a ponytail, Starbucks in one hand, while making someone laugh. Bragging about her accomplishments? Not Kelly's style. Instead, you’ll find her sharing stories about her twin Tibetan Terriers, London and Addison and their mischievous little brother Remmington (who’s convinced he’s the boss of the house).
Kelly lives life to the fullest - in her free time you’ll find her wake surfing, golfing, or perfecting her tennis forehand. Yet, her down-to-earth nature always shines through. She's the type of person who holds doors for the elderly, connects with strangers at the farmers market, always drawing people in with her energy and authenticity. She's as genuine and real as they come, whether it’s on stage, with clients, or with family and friends. Now, no one is saying she’s Superwoman (even though we pretty much already did), but no one has ever seen them in the same room together.

Through her businesses, Kelly is disrupting the status quo, redefining the new paradigm of entrepreneurship and how business can be done. She takes a stand for the mavericks, the trailblazers, the ones who've been overlooked because their vision was too much for the status quo, and helps them bring their ideas to market. In a world that often resists change, Kelly believes the rapid pace of change we‘re in needs visionary entrepreneurs who make an impact that will leave a legacy and make the world a better place.
All of her past experiences have prepared her for her next chapter: her legacy work. She‘s no longer working with entrepreneurs who’re just wanting to make more money - instead she exclusively works with entrepreneurs who want to create a lasting impact for future generations, the ones who rewrite the rules to change the trajectory of humanity. Kelly is not just building businesses; she's building legacies, and she's just getting started…
Kelly began her career in an internship at Carter Waxman Advertising and Public Relations, a prestigious agency in the Silicon Valley. After just 3 months, the company hired her and gave her the opportunity to co-manage one of the company’s accounts. She was 19 years old.
After Kelly graduated college and left CarterSub-Headline Waxman at 24, she was recruited by Walt & Company – another Silicon Valley Public Relations Agency where she worked with emerging technology companies and Fortune 500 companies (including Epson America, Hitachi Data Systems, Oki Semiconductor and Kingston Technologies). It’s here where she further developed her widespread expertise in advanced branding and marketing strategy.
World leading software company Intuit came knocking, looking for young, hot talent and made Kelly an offer she couldn’t refuse. At just 26, her work with Inuit (where she was responsible for launching Quicken 98, 99 and 2000) was acknowledged by the Association of National Advertisers. She received the Distinguished Award for Professional Development Excellence in Business Building & Managing Brand Equity.
When the dot com boom hit, start-ups were actively seeking innovators to get their brands acquired or poise them for acquisition. Since Kelly had developed a reputation for her keen ability to strategically position companies, align their brands, and generate stellar results. At just 27 years old, Kelly was recruited for a Director position by eVoice, Inc. The company was seeking aggressive talent (most of whom were Ivy League Graduates) that could help them strategically position the company for acquisition. In just 7 months, she repositioned and re-launched the company that was then acquired by AOL Time Warner.
In 2001, Kelly launched O’Neil Communications, a boutique consulting company that served consumer technology companies and helped them with brand marketing strategy, positioning, and public relations. Kelly’s first client was the infamous Morpheus digital peer-to-peer company where she instantly became the driving force behind the brand marketing and publicity campaign in its battle to legalize digital music. Kelly was a critical component in bringing awareness to the validity of peer-to-peer technology and even lobbied on Capitol Hill where she effectively killed the Howard Berman Bill and created a movement of support for the advancement of this technology platform.
After nearly three years, Morpheus won its lawsuit achieving freedom for digital distribution of content, much in part because of the position and PR campaigns that created a movement under Kelly’s leadership. (Think giving way to platforms like iTunes and Facebook.) At 29, she was awarded a PR Compass Award for Excellence by the Public Relations Society of America for outstanding positioning and campaign work and became a media darling in the press for her work on the account.
Always committed to her own person growth, Kelly attended the Coaches Training Institute in 2003. She launched one of the first business coaching companies for entrepreneurs where the focus was on using Fortune 1000 strategies on small businesses to accelerate their results.
Kelly began speaking and published her first book in 2005.
In 2009, Kelly launched Marketing to Millionaires, her game changing program that instantly positioned her as the industry’s go-to expert for marketing to the affluent.
In 2013, Kelly started The Innovate Brand agency to serve the specific needs of the next generation of thought leaders with strategic market positioning, brand strategy, brand platform development and innovative marketing strategies to rise above the noise.
Kelly changed the conversation in the business coaching industry with the launch of The Profit-ology ® business building process and embarked on a speaking tour to help entrepreneurs around the world rethink how they go about building their empires.
Kelly’s business exploded in a time where entrepreneurs are desperately seeking innovative solutions to position their brands and alter their service offerings in unprecedented times.
After years of watching the entrepreneurial framework break down, losing two of her own companies, Kelly retreated from the limelight to re-evaluate her life, her business and her purpose and experienced a massive revelation. She invested the next year developing intellectual property and collaborating with some of the most brilliant minds in business to rewrite the rules of how we launch, run and scale entrepreneurial businesses. She’s over it.
In 2023, Kelly went off the grid, stepping back from marketing and sales, to focus on a massive project behind the scenes. After refusing to accept the inefficiency of the antiquated business models and recurring problems that visionaries are imprisoned by, she did a complete overhaul of entrepreneurial systems from the ground up. By launching 9 companies that encapsulate more than 25 brands, she put her revolutionary "Fusion Principle(™)" to the test, proving it's not just theory but a proven map for success. She spent the year crafting, testing, and perfecting this new approach, all set to burn the old paradigms to the ground. What's next isn't just a shift; it's a disruptive innovation set to redefine entrepreneurship.
