Interior Air & Energy was founded in 1986 in the Okanagan by Arend ter Keurs, with a clear focus on the installation, service, repair, and maintenance of mechanical and HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, and multi-family properties. Unlike residential contractors, our expertise has always centered on facilities where mechanical infrastructure and ventilation are critical to building performance and occupant comfort.
As the business grew, Matthew ter Keurs and Lee Johnson joined the leadership team, expanding both capacity and specialization. Under their guidance, the company extended service coverage to Greater Victoria while continuing to refine technical expertise in the Okanagan.
Today, Scott Warrall serves as Plumbing Lead Technician in the Okanagan, overseeing plumbing services, and technical coordination for multi-unit and commercial properties. Danny Goncalves leads Victoria operations, including the addition of commercial backflow testing and service to support local property managers and building owners.
Together, we continue to deliver dependable mechanical solutions, proactive maintenance programs, and responsive service that keep buildings operating safely, efficiently, and comfortably across Greater Victoria and the Okanagan.
