Dr. Leena Plavumkal
My name is Dr. Leena Plavumkal. I have been a Veterinary Doctor in Lee County for almost 20 years. I own & operate Florida Vet On Wheels, a successful house call veterinary clinic in Lee County since last 14 years.
I am the President of local veterinary society & organizes yearly conferences. In 2020, I received Gold Star Award by Florida veterinary association for outstanding contributions to veterinary medicine in Florida. I am also the finalist by FGCU small business development center for Distinguished Entrepreneur award.
My mission as a veterinarian is to partner with pet owners to help them take care of their pets the best way possible. I am passionate about educating pet parents the different options available for each pet’s veterinary care & individual needs. I am a firm believer in helping patients to have least amount of stress during veterinary visits.
When I am not working, I spend time with my family which includes multiple pets. I enjoy networking and also attend & volunteer at my Rotary Club.

I am passionate about educating pet parents in helping their furry friends live a long, happy & healthy life. I spend my free time outdoors, with my family which includes two large dogs also.
