(ECO4)
Energy Company Obligation
The Energy Company Obligation (ECO4) is the fourth phase of a UK government scheme
aimed at improving the energy efficiency of homes, particularly for low-income and vulnerable households.
This phase runs from April 2022 to March 2026 and is part of the broader goal to reduce carbon emissions and tackle fuel poverty.
ECO4 builds on previous phases by expanding eligibility and aiming to reach a wider demographic, including:
Benefit recipients, low-income families not receiving traditional benefits & households with occupants with certain health conditions adversely affected by cold.
This phase is crucial in the UK’s efforts to meet its net-zero carbon emissions target by 2050.
The ECO4 scheme provides funding for various energy efficiency improvements in homes across the UK
Damp Proofing:
Cleaning and damp proofing of exterior facing walls to prevent moisture penetration and future damp.
Prevents water from seeping through your walls, which can lead to mold, rot, and structural damage.
By applying advanced damp-proofing treatments, we create a long-lasting barrier to keep your home dry and healthy.
Regular damp-proofing maintenance prolongs the life of your building while keeping your walls strong and resilient.
Insulation:
Wall and loft insulation to reduce heat loss.
Effectively retain warmth in your home, keeping it cozy during colder months.
Improved insulation leads to less energy consumption, saving you money.
Reduce your carbon footprint by conserving energy and making your home more sustainable.

(GBIS)
Great British Insulation Scheme
The Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS) is a UK government initiative aimed at
enhancing the energy efficiency of homes, primarily focusing on singular insulation measures to reduce energy consumption and help tackle fuel poverty.
The scheme aims to improve the thermal efficiency of homes by installing
various types of insulation.
This reduces the amount of energy needed to heat homes, leading to lower energy bills and reduced carbon emissions.
By focusing on properties with poor energy performance (EPC ratings D-G),
the scheme targets homes that will benefit the most from
energy efficiency improvements.
The GBIS scheme provides funding for various energy efficiency improvements in homes across the UK.
Solid / Cavity Wall Insulation:
Wall insulation to reduce heat loss.
Insulate your walls to retain warmth and keep your home comfortable.
Lower your energy bills by minimizing heat escape through solid or cavity walls.
Create a more consistent indoor temperature by enhancing your home's insulation.
Loft Insulation:
Loft insulation to reduce heat loss.
Insulate your loft to prevent heat from escaping through the roof.
Improve energy efficiency, leading to reduced heating costs.
Maintain a stable indoor temperature by keeping your home warmer in winter and cooler in summer.

Yes in most cases, the upgrades are fully funded by the government or energy companies, meaning you won't have to pay for the improvements. However, in some cases, you may be asked to contribute a small amount, depending on your personal circumstances and the specific upgrades you receive.
To begin the process, you'll need to complete an online form or contact our team directly. We’ll arrange a home energy assessment to evaluate your properties needs and check your eligibility. Once confirmed, we'll guide you through the next steps.
The installation process varies depending on the type of upgrades. For smaller improvements like insulation, it could take a few hours to a day. Larger projects, such as installing a new heating system or solar panels, may take a few days. You’ll be informed of the timeline before work begins.
In most cases, you won’t need to move out. The work is usually non-invasive and can be done while you’re at home. However, if major renovations are required, we’ll advise you ahead of time and work to minimize disruption.
The upgrades are based on the results of your home energy assessment. Our experts will recommend the most effective measures to improve energy efficiency. However, we work with you to ensure the improvements fit your needs and preferences.
