All products crafted by My Sweet Sister LLC are governed by the following Terms and Conditions:

INGREDIENTS & ALLERGENS

My Sweet Sister LLC is not a nut-free bakery. All cakes, fillings, and icings may contain or come into contact with allergens such as soy, wheat, dairy, and nuts.

Customers are responsible for notifying My Sweet Sister LLC of any allergies or intolerances before confirming their booking. Additionally, it is the Customer’s responsibility to communicate all allergy information to their guests. My Sweet Sister LLC disclaims any liability for allergic reactions resulting from the consumption of cake.

Our products are crafted to be enjoyed on the day of your celebration and are best served at room temperature. Please allow 2-3 hours for your cake to reach room temperature before serving. Plan your delivery timing and cake storage accordingly.

CAKE QUOTES

All quotes provided by My Sweet Sister LLC are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance. If the desired date has been booked by another customer before the Customer confirms their order with a 50% deposit, My Sweet Sister LLC is not obligated to honor the quote. All quotes are subject to availability and do not constitute a booking until confirmed with a deposit.

ORDERS

For optimal service, we request a minimum of three (3) weeks’ notice for all orders, as we often have a full schedule. However, we are happy to accommodate short-notice requests when possible, which may incur a rush fee of up to $50.


Orders based on photos or pictures from other creators will be interpreted by My Sweet Sister LLC and will not be exact reproductions. Adjustments may be made to ensure the stability and integrity of the final design.


Design modifications can be made up to one week before the event. Change requests received after this point may not be guaranteed and could incur additional charges.

SERVING SIZES

Standard serving sizes are based on dimensions of 1” x 2” x 4” high. Serving sizes are estimates and may vary based on specialty cakes or carving techniques. Customers are advised to consider these factors when placing their orders.

DEPOSITS & FINAL PAYMENTS

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your date. Your order is not confirmed until the deposit has been received. For orders placed within seven (7) days of the pick-up date, full payment is required at the time of ordering.


Final payments for celebration cakes are due on or before the event date. For wedding cakes and large event cakes, the balance is due one week prior to the event.

If the delivered product accurately reflects the quoted interpretation, but the Customer chooses not to accept it, the deposit will not be refunded. Customers may opt to pay the remainder and take the product or leave it at no extra cost.

POSTPONEMENT

If your event needs to be rescheduled, please contact us immediately. The new date will be subject to availability.

UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES

In the event that My Sweet Sister LLC must cancel due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, the deposit will be refunded within seven (7) days of notification. We will only cancel or reschedule orders under extenuating conditions and will provide notice as early as possible.

DELIVERY

Delivery will be conducted safely and securely. Once the product is delivered and accepted in appropriate condition, the Customer is responsible for its storage and care as per provided guidelines. My Sweet Sister LLC is not liable for any damages that occur after this exchange due to customer negligence or improper handling.

DAMAGE

Customers should inspect products prior to final payment upon delivery or pick-up. Acceptance of the item signifies agreement to its condition. Customers are responsible for ensuring the product is transported safely and stored according to My Sweet Sister LLC instructions to maintain quality and avoid damage.

THIRD PARTY PICKUP

If someone else will pick up or accept delivery on the Customer’s behalf, this individual will receive the same information provided to the Customer. The same terms apply as if the Customer were collecting the product. My Sweet Sister LLC is not liable for any damage caused by third-party negligence after the product has been picked up or delivered.

EXCLUSIVITY

Customers must inform My Sweet Sister LLC during the initial consultation if they intend to provide baked goods from other sources. To maintain our integrity, no other cakes or desserts may be served unless agreed upon beforehand. Any non-My Sweet Sister LLC items must be displayed separately to limit liability regarding origin.

PUBLICATION

My Sweet Sister LLC reserves the right to use images of products for publication purposes, both immediately and in the future. Photographs will not be shared on social media without Customer consent, particularly regarding children’s parties or similar events.

RENTED EQUIPMENT

Deposits are required for all rented equipment. All equipment must be returned on the agreed date; otherwise, additional charges may apply. Damages to the equipment may result in deductions from the deposit for repair or replacement costs.


CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS

For cancellations, the refund policy is as follows:

A. Cancellations made up to one (1) month before the event will receive a refund minus the deposit and any incurred supply costs.

B. Cancellations less than thirty (30) days before the event are non-refundable.

C. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of cancellation.


In the event of an emergency or service error, please contact us immediately to resolve the issue. If you are unhappy for any reason, you must call us on the day of the event, and the product must be returned within 24 hours for refund eligibility.

PLEASE NOTE: By paying the non-refundable retainer, you accept and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
