But financially? Yeah. That part isn’t working quite as well as it should.
Our mission is to enable Videographers and boutique production studios to do what they’re
best at: Create amazing videos—while being compensated extremely well for it.

Our Story
The idea behind The VBA was formed many, many years ago when I (Den Lennie)
realized that there was something fundamentally wrong with the way the traditional educational
system approached the business of video production.
They don't!
That’s what led me to build my own filmmaking education company, fstopacademy.com.
We delivered high quality education to thousands of filmmakers and videographers back in 2009 when the Canon 5D MK II revolutionzed and democratized filmmaking.
Through doing that, I realized two things:
Creative people suck at business. But you don't have to sell your soul to be good enough to make you comfortable
There are countless talented videographers and production companies out there who have great gear and create great work but don’t know how to monetize it.
Now I’m on a mission to help Videographers and boutique production companies get paid well
for what they’re best at.
