Kamron Karington bought a nearly bankrupt pizzeria while on a phone call to get Rolling Stones tickets one night. (huh?)
The day he took over, half the staff bailed and the day's dough exploded in the walk-in (compressor died). Despite the sketchy start, Kamron rolled up his sleeves and rewrote the restaurant marketing playbook.
Over the next three years he increased sales by over 1,000% going from $12,000 a month to a staggering $149,000 a month—by boldly doing the exact opposite of everyone else.
Kamron became legendary for his straight-shooting, no-nonsense Pizza Expo seminars and private workshops.
After years of travelling, speaking, and teaching others how to cut through the crap, ditch the endless discounts, and craft marketing that actually hauls in customers and makes money, he tackled the biggest pain point of all—time.
Kamron founded Repeat Returns in 2008 as a way to arm even the smallest mom-n-pop with automated marketing that maximizes customer frequency and spend.
But it only solved half the problem...
Despite the amazing results clients achieved, something was still missing from the platform—the ability to haul in NEW customers.
How could that pesky little problem be solved?
That's when fate intervened...
In May 2023, a mutual friend introduced Kamron to Matt Plapp, the founder and CEO of America’s Best Restaurants.
Over lunch, Kamron quickly realized—Matt had cracked the code on attracting restaurant customers at scale.
And when Matt mentioned he was on the hunt for a marketing platform to guide the customer journey after acquisition...
...it was clear, each had the missing piece the other was searching for.
By merging America’s Best Restaurants with Repeat Returns, they could create a full-cycle restaurant marketing solution capable of not only attracting customers, but then amplifying the customer journey.
