It seems like a lifetime ago now, but ever since we embarked on our journey in interior design and architecture, we’ve always ventured in the direction of holistic, human-centric, healthy design.
Maybe it’s our Australian roots, our London links, our global influences or our personal appreciation for natural, non-toxic living that opened our eyes to the impact of our internal environment on wellbeing. Maybe it’s all of them combined.
What matters is how our studio continues, years later, to embody craftsmanship, slow interiors, sustainability, ancient principles and current scientific research to transform spaces, lifestyles and wellness through design.

bring unique insight and skill, and all share a common goal: to enhance lives

With over 20 years’ experience in interior design and interior architecture, we
bring a wealth of knowledge in space planning, concept creation, furniture
procurement and design, lighting, bespoke joinery and styling.
As thought leaders in emotive, sensory and ethical design, we have forged an
exclusive network of trades people and furniture makers around the world who
echo our values, and who we trust and rely on for quality and professionalism.

Mima Romanic
Co-founder and Head Interior Designer | Based in London
Mima’s designs are clearly influenced by her experiences travelling and working in different cultures throughout the world. She began her career in Australia where she learnt the importance of utilising nature in interiors.
Working then in Bahrain and London as lead coordinator on a number of boutique commercial spaces, heritage buildings and luxury residences, Mima’s research into colour psychology, culture, neuroaesthetics and salutogenesis has formed a signature approach now coveted by many.

Liz Linforth
Co-founder and Head Interior Designer | Based in Sydney
Following extensive travel throughout the world collecting interior textures and objects, Liz built on her love of interior design storytelling while working in Sydney on commercial projects. It was here where she learnt the importance of precise detailing and documenting. Several years later, she moved to London to hone the integration of interior and architectural design across luxury residential and hospitality projects.
With Mima, Liz brings together wellness and interior design to elevate a space from an aesthetically beautiful one to an interior that affects people on a deeper, psychological level.

From furnishings to fabrics, materials to colour, I’ve always felt it’s important to draw inspiration from around our beautiful world. I believe for people to feel connected to their true selves, the spaces they surround themselves in must be connected to nature.
To bring together my two passions, interiors and wellbeing – was the dream. That shared connection brought me and Mima together to form a beautiful friendship and life-changing design studio.
