1. Smile
Even if you don’t feel like it. Smiling triggers your brain to release feel-good chemicals that reduce stress and lift your mood.
2. Breathe Deeply
Try this: Inhale through your nose for 4 seconds. Breath down deep into your lower abdomen. Exhale through your mouth for 4, pause for 2. Repeat. Try this, even for one minute. It slows your heart rate and calms your nervous system.
3. Step Outside in the Morning
Spend 2 - 5 minutes outdoors first thing. Natural light helps set your body clock, boosts mood, and supports better sleep.
4. Drink a Glass of Water
Start your day with water before coffee or tea. It rehydrates your brain and body, improving energy and focus.
5. Name Three Good Things
At the end of the day, say or write down three things that went well — even small ones. It builds resilience and helps you end the day positively.
6. Stretch for One Minute
Loosen your shoulders, back, and neck. Stretching relieves tension, improves blood flow, and helps your body recover.
7. Connect with Someone
