This facility is leased from the Batangas Electric Cooperative 1 (Batelec 1), situated on the west side of the Batangas region (Region IV-B). To reach the academy from Manila, take the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) and exit via Cavitex (Cavite Expressway). From there, head towards Silang, Cavite, and follow the Cavite-Batangas Road for about an hour.

The academy was established to train Filipino linesmen to meet UK industry standards, particularly the Safe System of Work protocols used in Pylon maintenance and operations. This initiative offers a significant opportunity for Filipino linesmen, as those selected to join Voltage Solutions will not only improve their skills but also benefit from a substantial increase in income compared to local standards, improving their financial situation.
