It was great to see the experienced negotiators in the ring. But what was even more interesting was to hear the VCs explaining what the normal terms are in Europe currently. Creandum and Sunstone’s experience shows that entrepreneurs tend to get caught up in pre-money valuations and then get eaten up by a lot of “fun” clauses in the term sheet to protect the investor’s return.
