From custom fabrication and specialty metals to advanced laboratory equipment, we provide reliable solutions tailored to exact industry specifications.
High-Performance Laboratory & Industrial Products

All of our test tubes are made of the highest quality raw materials.
We only use 100% virgin PTFE Teflon rods made in North America only. We do not use any mechanical grade or recycled Teflon, or injection molded PTFE-nylon mixed material for injection molded “Teflon” products.
All of our Teflon products machined of this high-quality material and resist heat up to 260 ℃. Our tube surfaces, both inside and outside, are extremely smooth for easier cleaning to help avoid any contamination.
We are one of the largest and most experienced Teflon test tube producers in the world! We sold over 400,000 Teflon Test tubes in the past 20 years.
We offer extremely competitive pricing.
Many of the largest assay and geochemical labs use our test tubes.
Unlike most of our competitors, we are able to offer custom sizes and styles made to your specifications even for smaller quantities. Our Teflon test tubes are available in any length, any diameter, with or without a top rim, with the choice of round, flat or tapered bottom.

These test tube racks are designed to fit our HB-80-195 and HB-120-195 hot blocks, using the 25 or 50
ml Teflon test tubes. We can also make custom sizes to your request.
Sits on the hot block on 4 Teflon support legs.

Also available: Titanium forks to move Teflon test tubes and Ti hot water baths in any size.
Teflon test tube heating blocks and Corrosion resistant

The Aurum Hot Blocks and Hot Plates are designed specifically for geochemical and assay
laboratories. This system was designed for high sample throughput, maximum durability under
the most extreme corrosive environment, and maximum simplicity. Up to 225℃ (up to 345℃ for
hot plate only) service temperature. Compact design to maximize your fume hood space. All
units available CSA or UL approved if requested.
The standard configuration holds 80 25ml test tubes (2 racks of 40, each one in a 4x10
arrangement to match most commercially available test tube racks). Also available a larger Hot
Block holding 120 50ml test tubes (3 racks of 40, each one in a 4x10 arrangement). Unlike most
commercially available hot block systems, custom configurations are also available to match
your existing vessels and processes.
All electrical components are sealed in the block, using Ti cover plates outside, titanium strip
heater conectors for corrosion resistance. The controller is in a separate titanium enclosure, for
mounting outside of the fume hood. It is connected with a 5 feet maximum cable length, covered
by convoluted PTFE tubing with Titanium connectors to the block.
The entire top surface of the Hot Block is constructed of a single piece 3.5” (2.5” for hot plate)
thick anodized and Teflon coated aluminum block, (hot plate only hard anodized) for easy
cleaning and maximum corrosion resistance.
Most commercially available units, which usually have a plastic or stainless steel enclosure are
designed for low temperature (max 150 ℃). Plastic enclosures tend to warp and deform,
exposing the interior of the unit to further corrosion. Usually graphite blocks are used for easy
and cheap production. Stainless steel enclosures corrode rapidly, increasing the chance of
sample contamination.
In our product the heating elements are widely available ceramic stainless steel strip heaters
which are fully enclosed. These strip heaters are inexpensive and designed to be quickly and
easily replaceable by any qualified electrician with no special tools required.
Matching titanium test tube lifting trays and Teflon test tubes are also available to maximize your
productivity and sample throughput.
