Today was our first session with the emotional support dogs, and wow — what a difference. I had seven Year 9 students with me, and some of them are usually incredibly quiet. But today? They were engaged. They were talking. They were connecting… not just with the dogs, but with each other.
The way Lyn structured the group work, both with and without the dogs, was spot on. The whole session had this gentle, positive energy that pulled the students in.
