what is nSA?

Network Spinal Analysis™ (NSA) is a unique healing discipline that is gaining awareness and popularity around the globe.  It is a gentle way of working with the spine and nervous system.  Practitioners use the word entrainment to describe the body work.  It is different from the spinal manipulation or “cracking” adjusting that many chiropractors do.  An entrainment consists of light force touches at specific places along the spine. These touches signal the brain to communicate more effectively with the body in order to observe itself and make a change. The nervous system becomes more able to find areas of tension and areas of ease and naturally move towards the ease. Instead of making war with the pain and dysfunction, the patient learns how to grow the peace!  It is a surprisingly profound and effective way to unwind.

NSA  is useful for pain relief and the resolution of a multitude of physical ailments.  It is also much more. The  nervous system is how we perceive our world.  Anytime something happens to us that we cannot fully process in the moment our nervous systems store this information  in our physiology as vibration and tension.  Over time, our bodies and spinal cords distort with all this tension.  We call this  defense posture.  NSA  moves the person out of defense posture  and into healing and growth.  Once we are out of stress physiology and into safety, our experiences of the world changes.  Then we are able to feel whole.

There are different levels of care in NSA. In basic care the work is about connecting to the body and releasing tension. In intermediate care the focus is using the tension in the body  as fuel for change or transformation.  In advanced care the work is about  expanding ourselves and the conscious awakening of the relationships between our body, mind and emotion.  As our perceptions in our body change so do our perceptions of the world.

what is SRI?

Somato Respiratory Integration™ (SRI)

SRI is a series of simple exercises designed to offer new ways of experiencing the body to access ease and connection from inner sources. Through focused attention, gentle breath, movement and touch, SRI teaches you how to better connect with your body. SRI gives you a tool for focusing your attention in a way that enhances your healing and empowerment. The goal of SRI is to help develop lifetime skills to use breath, touch, focused movement and attention to support the body.

Dr. Leah will at times guide you through these exercises during an NSA session in the office or give you something on your own at home. The exercises are easy for anyone of any age and may be comfortably performed just about anywhere.

SRI was developed by Dr. Donald Epstein and is based on the 12 Stages of Healing described in "The Twelves Stage of Healing: A Network Approach to Wholeness".  The book is available at your local bookstore or online at amazon.com

To Alleviate Symptoms

To Alleviate Symptoms

  • Research has  demonstrated that most recipients of this care report a complete absence or significant reduction of symptoms within a few weeks of care. These symptoms span the range of emotional and physical, and include back pain, headaches, allergies, depression, sleep disorders, and anxiety

  • Stress Reduction

  • Life today can be stressful.  Being under prolonged stress has been shown to have detrimental effects on both the brain and the body. Research has shown that NSA care reduces stress; in fact, researchers at the University of California Irvine School of Medicine have referred to NSA as a “stress buffer”, since recipients of Network care develop life-long strategies that diminish the stress response.

  • Personal Growth and Development

  • NSA care promotes the ability to attain higher states of wellness even if one is already healthy. It facilitates high-end human development and promotes higher organization in the human brain. In the advanced levels of care, recipients report a greater sense of gratitude, improved relationships, and a greater sense of spiritual connection.
