TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Profer Roofing website at https://proferroofing.com/ or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

These Terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access or use our website or services.

2. Services

Profer Roofing provides residential and commercial roofing services including but not limited to roof installation, repair, replacement, inspection, and maintenance. The specific scope of services will be outlined in a separate written estimate or contract provided to you prior to commencement of work.

3. Estimates and Quotes

All estimates and quotes provided by Profer Roofing are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated in writing. An estimate does not constitute a binding contract. Work will not begin until a written agreement has been signed by both parties.

Estimates are based on information available at the time of assessment. Additional costs may arise if unforeseen conditions are discovered once work has commenced (e.g., hidden structural damage, code compliance requirements). We will notify you of any such changes before proceeding with additional work.

4. Payment Terms

A deposit may be required prior to the start of work, as outlined in your service agreement

Final payment is due upon completion of the project unless otherwise agreed in writing

Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of your service agreement

Overdue balances may be subject to a late fee as specified in your service agreement

Profer Roofing reserves the right to suspend or discontinue work on projects with outstanding unpaid balances

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule a scheduled service by contacting us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice may result in a cancellation fee as outlined in your service agreement. Any deposit paid may be non-refundable if work has already been initiated or materials have been ordered on your behalf.

6. Warranties

Profer Roofing stands behind the quality of our work. Warranty terms, including duration and coverage, will be specified in your individual service agreement. Warranties cover workmanship defects and do not extend to damage caused by weather events, acts of God, improper maintenance, or third-party modifications made after project completion.

Manufacturer warranties on materials are separate from our workmanship warranty and are subject to the terms of the respective manufacturer.

7. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure safe and efficient completion of your project, you agree to:

Provide reasonable access to the work site at agreed-upon times

Disclose any known property conditions that may affect the work

Ensure the work area is clear of people, pets, and personal property prior to and during service

Obtain any required homeowner association approvals before work begins

Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in project delays or additional charges.

8. Liability Limitation

Profer Roofing carries general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage as required by Kansas law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific services giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind, including loss of use of your property, loss of income, or damage to personal belongings not directly caused by our negligence.

9. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us directly so we can work toward a resolution. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the parties agree to pursue mediation before initiating any legal proceedings.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Kansas. Any legal action arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Kansas.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Profer Roofing website, including text, images, logos, and graphics, is the property of Profer Roofing and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without our prior written consent.

11. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for convenience only. Profer Roofing does not endorse or assume responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party site. Visiting third-party links is at your own risk.
