At OPUS Consultancy Coaching, our mission is to help senior leaders translate the success, credibility, and expertise gained over 15–20 years of professional achievement into a high-value, fulfilling, and profitable consultancy practice—whether independently or in collaboration with trusted partners and colleagues.
Our Founder, Alexander R. Malaket, has navigated this path himself: beginning his career in capital markets and banking, transitioning into consulting with a global advisory firm, and ultimately establishing his private practice in early 2001.
Alexander advises top-tier banking institutions, governments, international organizations, and corporate clients on global trade, international supply chains, trade finance, and the integration of ESG and sustainability into trade and supply chain strategy. His work spans global strategy and policy, operating model design, business and process assessments, technology implementation, and the development and delivery of specialized training across more than 50 countries.
He has served on influential industry and policy boards, contributed to shaping global standards and best practices, and supported multiple start-ups in tackling complex strategic and operational challenges. His advocacy and advisory roles have helped influence policy, regulatory frameworks, and industry-wide developments at an international level.
Alexander is the author of Financing Trade and International Supply Chains (Taylor & Francis UK, 2014) and has produced numerous policy briefs, strategic papers, best-practice reports, and articles for leading industry publications over the past 25 years.
