Accountable To: TLG Board President [Partnership w/Director of Marketing]
Time Commitment: Part-Time [12-15 hours per week]
Summary: The Social Media Intern will assist with marketing strategies and social publishing that results in awareness to The Lady General organization. This intern will support the TLG Director of Marketing Director and Board President with marketing campaigns, strategy, and social media brand development. This internship will provide the opportunity to work closely with our organization and marketing team to create innovative online marketing solutions while obtaining valuable experience with social media outreach, marketing research, and other office administration tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Communication
• Serves as point of contact for social media platforms for TLG Board Members
Coordinating/Scheduling
• Create and manage social media posting schedule
• Manage and monitor TLG social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
• Partner with marketing to ensure graphics are updated and prepared for social campaigns
• Tracking and analyzing data across social media channels to evaluate growth opportunities, as needed
Records Management
• Gathering, classifying, organizing, and managing the organization photos for TLG digital archive
