Historical romances

To date, I've written two historical romance series set in the late Victorian era, without the fantastical scifi elements of my steampunk romances.

The novels that fall into this category are as follows:

The Lost Slipper Society series:

A Waltz Before Midnight

(The Lost Slipper Society, book 1)

Synopsis:

When Cindaria Hethrope and Mr. Spencer Moreland collide, the collision destroys a precious gift for her ailing sister. Her nasty stepmother won’t purchase another, so Cindaria has no choice. She must agree when Spencer offers to procure it for her, even if it means traveling outside London with him to meet the creator. All Spencer wants is to clear his debt to the infuriating Cindaria, and forget the horrid, no good day he had less grace than an earl’s son should have. Then maybe he can put this girl behind him and find the charming beauty who stole his heart at a recent masked society ball.

If only he had a glass slipper to prove what his heart tells him is true…

Setting: London, 1890

Letters to Ellie

(The Lost Slipper Society book 2)

Synopsis:

London debutant Eloise fell in love with a foreign baron who returned to Luxembourg far too soon. Unfortunately, her heart is broken when their correspondence suddenly breaks off.

After a lowly maid, Ellie, begins receiving love letters from the Luxembourg baron, she doesn’t know what to think. She is so distracted by the possibilities, she cannot see a dear neighbor’s heartfelt devotion.
When the misdirected letters are discovered at long last, will either Ellie or Eloise find happiness–or has fate dealt them both a cruel blow?

Begins in 1889, setting, London and Paris.

Years ago, his Irish family lost everything to an unscrupulous landowner–including the family title. Now, the elderly scalawag offers to make amends if Edwin weds Miss Jera Camden. As far as Jera is concerned, so long as she manages to avoid marriage to a certain Scotsman, the bluestocking is delighted to pose as Edwin’s blushing bride-to-be. Can Edwin and Jera dupe the old codger into honoring his promise before the wedding date arrives … or will their clever scheme result in wedded disaster?

Miss Camden Kissed the Duke

Lady of the Tarot by Juli D. Revezzo, Gothic romance, supernatural romance, French Revolution, sweet romance, kisses only

Lady of the Tarot

(A Reign of Tarot novel)

This book is a Gothic romance in the traditional sense, but with supernatural elements. The book is set during the early days of the French Revolution.

Synopsis:

WHAT THE CARDS FORETELL MAY BE REAL, AFTER ALL

1793: Having escaped the Reign of Terror, Emilie Maigny took refuge in England, trying to come to grips with the life and loss she left behind. When her brother, Sinjon, returns, a terrifying evil swoops down upon her. Nightmares plague her now, providing strange clues … but to what?

Scottish-born Linton Morrison spent his entire life in luxury, whiling away the hours in intense study of the tarot and the cards’ hidden meanings, but until he met the lovely Emilie Maigny, he would never have guessed how important his study might be–to his life and Emilie’s survival when terrible evil strikes.

A Cypher is all Emilie needs, but what is it? Is Linton the key? He may charm her heart–and he may be her only salvation.

Reign of Tarot by Juli D. Revezzo, gothic romance boxed set

Reign of Tarot Complete

This is an ebook boxed set including Lady of the Tarot, plus two short stories. One, House of Cards, tells of the (for lack of a better word) trial of hell Emilie's brother Sinjon went through during his escape. It runs simultaneous with the first few chapters of Lady of the Tarot.

Book 2: House of Cards:

Can you gamble with Fate?

A young nobleman escapes the Reign of Terror in 18th century France to find himself dragged into an even worse fate–a hellish underworld wherein he is cajoled and put on trial by a demon tribunal for crimes he never committed. Can he thwart his fate, one worse than the guillotine?

Book 3: A HALLOWEEN PROMISE:
What happens when Emilie and Linton consult the cards again?

This little bit of flash fiction tells what happened next after the events of Lady of the Tarot.

Reader magnet:
