How To Measure
Bust/Chest:
Stand straight and ensure the measuring tape is level all around. Measure around the fullest part of your chest, typically at nipple level, keeping the tape snug but not tight. Make sure your arms are relaxed at your sides to get the most accurate reading.
Waist:
Find the natural crease of your waist by bending slightly to one side—this is usually the narrowest part of your torso. Wrap the tape measure around this area, ensuring it’s level and sits snugly against your skin without compressing it. Relax your stomach to get a true measurement.
Hips:
Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom. This is usually 7–9 inches (18–23 cm) below your natural waistline. Keep the measuring tape horizontal and ensure it doesn’t dip or ride up for the best result.
Length:
For tops and dresses, measure from the highest point of your shoulder (near the base of your neck) down to where you’d like the garment to fall. Use a straight ruler or have someone help you ensure the tape measure follows the correct line.
