During law school, I spent a semester in ASU’s post-conviction clinic doing criminal defense work — the kind of deeply emotional, high-stakes cases I believed aligned with my dream of becoming a civil rights attorney. Instead, I found myself surrounded by suffering, and my light dimmed. I knew I didn’t belong on a traditional path, and I refused to let go of any part of myself to make it work. That semester, I turned to daily meditation for clarity, and one night, half-awake during fall break, three words dropped into my mind: Life Coach Lawyer. I knew instantly it was the way forward — a space where I could integrate my legal expertise with my passion for personal growth, mindfulness, and wellness.
As an attorney, my job is to advise and counsel — and here, I get to do that beyond legal. Life Coach Lawyer is where I hold space, ask big questions, and help others find their own clarity and alignment. It’s about balance — the kind that lets you be driven and grounded, successful and well. I didn’t want to choose just one path, so I created my own. Through MaddConscious (community + wellness), Life Coach Lawyer (personal growth + guidance), and Sunshine Law Firm (legal clarity + empowerment), my mission is to empower people to build the life of their dreams — with clarity, balance, and purpose — by integrating community connection, personal growth, and legal empowerment, while shining my brightest.
