Our Story

A community committed to transforming lives through the love of Jesus Christ.

Born Again Deliverance Center

Born Again Deliverance Center (BADC) was founded in January 2019 by Pastor Cozroy A. Williams, Sr. and Pastor Dr. Bridgette Williams with a God-given vision, unwavering faith, and the support of their family. What began in obedience has grown into a thriving ministry rooted in prayer, perseverance, and purpose. From the beginning, our mission has been to help people connect with God and reach their full potential. BADC is more than a church, we are a ministry committed to sharing God’s love and truth with people of every background. Humble Beginnings Our journey started in our home with prayer and fellowship among family and friends. As God increased our faith, we moved to Home2 Suites hotel. On May 26, 2019, BADC officially launched in a powerful inaugural service. As attendance grew and costs increased, God opened the door for us to worship at St. James House in Baytown. Their chapel was provided at no cost, allowing both residents and visitors to worship together. God moved mightily during this season. Faith Through Challenges In March 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic forced us to shift to virtual worship. Though physically apart, our faith grew stronger, and our desire for a permanent home increased. In 2021, God led us to our current location at 6409 Eastland Street. The building needed major renovations, but after prayer, God said “Yes.” On August 6, 2021, we closed on the property with no down payment—an undeniable miracle and testimony of His faithfulness. “God giveth the increase.” — 1 Corinthians 3:7 Strengthened by Family During this time, Reverend Ian Williams and his wife Michelle obeyed God’s call and relocated from Florida to serve with BADC. Their obedience, along with the support of extended family, strengthened our ministry and confirmed God’s hand upon us. Building with Faith Pastor Cozroy and Pastor Bridgette invested their personal savings to renovate the building. With sacrifice, love, and hard work, the church was transformed into a welcoming place of worship. The building was dedicated on January 29, 2022. Since then, we have continued improving our facilities, including our youth and children’s areas. Our Children’s Church remains a vital part of our ministry, nurturing the next generation in Christ. Growing in Purpose Each year, BADC celebrates God’s faithfulness through anniversary themes: 3rd Year: Standing Strong, Building Better 4th Year: Going Further, Doing More 5th Year: Building a Solid Foundation 6th Year: Honoring Our Past, Building Our Future “Except the Lord build the house…” — Psalm 127:1 Enduring and Moving Forward The year 2025 was one of our most challenging seasons. We experienced great loss, including the passing of our beloved musician. Though it was a time of grief and testing, God remained faithful. We chose to trust. We chose to worship. We chose to endure. For 2026, God gave us the theme: “Endure, Don’t Quit.” As we enter our seventh year, our anniversary theme is “Reaffirming Our Call,” based on: “For we are His workmanship…” — Ephesians 2:10 The same God who built this ministry from nothing continues to strengthen and guide us today. Our Mission Born Again Deliverance Center stands as a testimony of God’s grace, faithfulness, and power. From a living room prayer meeting to a growing ministry, every step has been ordered by Him. Our mission remains the same: Transforming Our City, One Life at a Time.

Our Mission

Our mission is to serve our community by nourishing both body and soul, providing sustenance through food, and providing spiritual guidance to empower individuals to lead fulfilling lives.

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a safe place of love and compassion, where we feed the hungry with wholesome mealsand nurture the spirit with faith, so that everyone may find strength, purpose, and hope on their journey. We endeavor to fulfill Matthew 25:35–36: "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”

OUR BELIEFS

“Watch your life and your doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.” 1 Timothy 4:16

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of God. (II Timothy 3:16, II Peter 1:20-21, Proverb 30:5, Romans 16:25-26)

We believe that marriage is between a man and a woman only. As stated in Genesis 2:24. In Matthew 19:4-5, Jesus reaffirms this: "He answered, ‘Have you not read that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one’?"

We believe that a unique time of communion (The Lord’s Supper) in the presence of God when the elements of bread and grape juice (the Body and Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ) are taken in remembrance of Jesus’ sacrifice on the Cross (Matthew 26:26-29; I Corinthians 10:16, 11:23-25)

We believe in God’s principle concerning tithes and offering, as stated in Malachi 3:6-12.

We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer.

We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance, faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ, and being baptized (submerged) in water. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38; Mark 16:16; Acts 8:12, 36-38; 10:47-48)

We believe that there is one God eternally existent in three persons; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost. (I John 5:7, Genesis 1:26, Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; Luke 1:35; Isaiah 9:6; Hebrew 3:7-11)

We believe that the baptism in the Holy Ghost, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.

We believe in the Blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ at His return. (Matthew 24:30, 26:63-64; Acts 1:9-11; I Thessalonians 4:15-17; II Thessalonians 1:7-8; Revelations 1:7)

We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Ghost: Given at Pentecost, it is the promise of the Father, sent by Jesus after His Ascension, to empower the Church to preach the Gospel throughout the whole earth (Joel 2:28-29; Matthew 3:11; Mark 16:17; Acts 1:5,2:1-4, 17, 38-39, 8:14-17, 10:38,44-47, 11:15-17, 19:1-6).

We believe in feet washing; John 13:1–17 recounts Jesus' performance of this act. In verses 13:14–17, He instructs His disciples: If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.

We believe that rebirth by the Holy Ghost is essential for personal salvation. You must be born again.
