Association (VISMOSA)
VISMOSA is dedicated to advancing the mailing industry by championing MSP-led MSP-led enrollment and adoption of USPS systems and fostering support that benefits both MSPs and mail owners. Our purpose is to empower Mail Service Providers (MSPs) to lead the onboarding, education, and ongoing support of mail owners—strengthening collaboration, improving adoption of USPS systems, products, USPS facility reconfigurations, and driving greater operational success for all.
VISMOSA participates in MTAC to ensure that the voices and experiences of both MSPs and mail owners contribute to USPS discussions that shape the future of mail. MSPs bring operational insight into onboarding, logistics, preparation, & customer support, while mail owners often raise expectations, questions, and challenges that encourage MSPs to refine processes and pursue improvements. By representing both perspectives, VISMOSA helps USPS better understand real-world needs and strengthens the effectiveness, reliability, and long-term value of mail as a communication and delivery channel.
MSP-Led Onboarding Excellence: Make MSP-driven onboarding of mail owners to USPS systems and programs the centerpiece of our work, including Business Customer Gateway (BCG) access, CRID and MID setup, Promotion enrollment, and Incentive enrollment.
Support That Benefits Both MSPs and Mail Owners: Promote best practices that strengthen the relationship between MSPs and mail owners by focusing on education, USPS Product adoption (Informed Delivery, Informed Visibility), communication, and operational readiness—including preparing MSPs for USPS network and facility configuration changes.
Crowdsourced Best Practices: Build a collaborative process to collect insights, case studies, and troubleshooting resources from MSPs, curating them into best-practice guidance for the full association.
Actionable Feedback & Advocacy: Deliver clear, actionable recommendations to MTAC, USPS User Groups, and related forums, ensuring MSP and mail owner experiences inform USPS improvements.
Progress & Transparency: Track and communicate progress related to USPS Products,
Promotions and Incentives, BCG onboarding, and USPS network/facility realignments
influencing logistics and entry strategies.
Quarterly Forums: Topic-driven discussions on onboarding, USPS product adoption, facility reconfiguration impacts, logistics strategies, and MSP/mail owner communication.
Feedback Reports: Summaries delivered to MTAC/User Groups reflecting member insights, challenges, and proposed solutions.
Member-Driven Programming: Sessions shaped by member voting and topic submissions to ensure relevance across diverse MSP capabilities.
Best Practices Digest: Regular publication summarizing onboarding workflows, USPS network changes, ID/IV adoption strategies, Promotion and Incentive guidance, and
member case studies.

Providing the answers you need to navigate the evolving mailing ecosystem and maximize your partnership with VISMOSA.
The Visionary Mail Owner Support Association (VISMOSA) is a collaborative industry group that brings together Mail Service Providers (MSPs) and mail owners to improve how mail owners enroll in, adopt, and successfully use USPS systems and products. VISMOSA focuses on practical education, peer‑driven best practices, and representing real‑world experiences in conversations with USPS and MTAC to strengthen the mailing ecosystem.
VISMOSA is open to MSPs, mail owners, consultants, technology providers, and educators who are actively involved in mail preparation, marketing, logistics, compliance, or customer enablement. Members typically have hands‑on experience supporting mail owners and want to collaborate with peers to improve processes, share lessons learned, and help shape the future of mail.
Members gain access to a trusted peer forum where real challenges and solutions are openly discussed. VISMOSA provides opportunities to share best practices, learn from other MSPs and mail owners, stay informed on USPS programs and changes, and contribute feedback that is elevated to MTAC and USPS user groups. Participation helps members improve their own operations while contributing to broader industry progress.
VISMOSA intentionally represents both sides of the MSP–mail owner relationship. MSPs contribute operational insight and technical expertise, while mail owners bring expectations, use‑case challenges, and perspectives that often push programs to improve. By facilitating open dialogue between these groups, VISMOSA helps surface balanced, actionable feedback that benefits the entire mailing ecosystem.
VISMOSA grows through peer referral, industry outreach, and participation in MTAC and related USPS forums. Prospective members are invited based on their involvement in mail owner support, mailing operations, or related services. Membership is built intentionally to reflect a diverse range of experience and capabilities, ensuring meaningful discussion and well‑rounded representation across the industry.
