No. Anyone can walk into Wishing Cup and write a wish. You don’t need to be a paying customer. The wish experience is open to everyone.

Wishes can be anything — personal or community-focused. Maybe you need help with something in your life, maybe you want to do something kind for someone else, maybe you have a dream that feels just out of reach. There’s no strict category. We’ve granted wishes that helped local shelters and children’s organizations, and we’re just as open to granting personal wishes that mean the world to one person. The only real rule is that it comes from a genuine place.

Every month, we shortlist wishes from everything that’s been submitted. Then we post the shortlist on our Instagram (@wishingcupco), and the community votes in the comments. The community decides — not us. That’s an important distinction. This isn’t a panel of judges picking a winner. It’s real people choosing to help each other.

One wish is granted every month. We’ve been doing this since the day we opened in July 2025, and we haven’t missed a month.

We call the winner first. Then we get on a longer call to hear their full story — how they came up with the wish, what it means to them, what’s behind it. After that, we work to grant the wish as soon as possible. The entire process — from the call to the granting moment — is documented, so the community can see the real impact of their votes.
