What is OXYFLEX?

OXYFLEX is a single 90 micron silage sheet with a built in oxygen barrier that prevents oxygen from entering your stack. This reduces dry matter losses, eliminate surface waste and prevent mould and bacteria growth.

OXYFLEX is 150 times more effective than standard black/white plastic.

A study carried out by the University of Nottingham in the UK concluded that:

How does OXYFLEX eliminate waste on top of the clamp?

OXYFLEX is a high oxygen barrier film so virtually ZERO oxygen can penetrate the sheet & enter your silage.

How does OXYFLEX compare to cling film style sheet systems?

OXYFLEX doesn't need cling film, it's an all in one silage film, just lay down the sheet & you're done. It's much easier & far quicker than messing around with cling film style solutions.

Worried about walking on your silage sheets & punching a hole in the plastic? Fingers going through your silage sheets when pulling it across the stack?

Due to the way it's manufactured OXYFLEX is incredibly strong & durable. You can walk all over it without fear of it getting damaged & pull it across the stack without any fears of it breaking apart. It can also easily be pulled back & re-sheeted when adding multiple cuts.

The technical stuff

Manufactured from polyethylene (PE) combined with special resins, OXYFLEX is an industry leading oxygen barrier silage film.

The oxygen transmission rate (OTR) of OXY FLEX is <2cm³/m²/24 hours. In comparison, regular silage film has an enormous OTR of 300cm³/m²/24 hours. OXYFLEX is 150x more effective at blocking oxygen compared to black plastic and 500x more effective than cling film.
