Not at all. We’ve designed The MK LAB for business owners, creators, podcasters, and brands who want professional content without having to figure out the tech themselves. We handle the setup so you can focus on showing up and delivering.
Can I bring my own team or guests to the session?
Yes. You’re welcome to bring co-hosts, guests, or team members based on your booking type. Whether you’re recording solo or creating conversation-based content, we’ll help make sure the setup fits your vision.
How quickly will I receive my content after the session?
Turnaround time depends on the package you select. Some sessions include fast delivery options, while more advanced edits may take a few business days. If speed matters to you, we’ll help guide you to the right package.
Do you offer discounts for block bookings or regular sessions?
Yes. If you’re serious about creating content consistently, our bundle options are the most cost-effective way to produce more content at a better rate.
What type of content can I create at The MK LAB?
The MK LAB is built for podcasts, video interviews, talking-head YouTube videos, educational content, social clips, promotional videos, course content, training summits, video sales letters (VSLs), seminars and webinars, brand storytelling, and more. If it helps you build authority online, we likely have a setup for it.
What equipment do you have in the studio?
Our studio is equipped with Sony FX30 digital cinematic cameras, professional studio lighting, Shure SM7dB and Electrovoice RE-20 microphones, audio capture, TV display integration, and curated sets to help you create polished, premium-looking content that elevates your brand.
Is editing included in the price?
Editing is available based on the package you choose. Some bookings are studio recording only, while others include edited episodes, short-form clips, or same-day deliverables. We make it easy to choose the level of support you need.
Can I choose the set or background?
Yes. We want your content to feel aligned with your brand. Based on availability and package, you can choose the set or background that best fits your message, style, and audience.
What if I’m not sure which package is right for me?
That’s exactly what we’re here for. If you’re unsure, we’ll help you choose the best option based on your goals, the type of content you want to create, and how hands-on you want our team to be.
Can I arrive early for my booking?
In many cases, yes. If you’d like extra time to get settled, review notes, or prepare before recording, we allow for 10-15 minutes early arrival and wait quietly in our guest waiting area.
Can I extend my booking while I’m in the space?
Yes, if the studio is available after your session. If you need more time, we can often extend your booking on-site so you don’t lose momentum while creating at no additional overtime fee.
Can I reschedule or cancel my studio booking?
Yes. We do allow rescheduling and cancellations based on our booking policy. Full details can be found in our terms and conditions and privacy policy.
Do you offer remote mobile podcast services?
Yes. We offer select mobile and remote production services for clients who want professional podcast or content capture off-site in the San Diego and Orange County regions. This is a great fit for events, team interviews, and custom productions.
Can I record with a remote guest using Riverside or Zoom?
Yes. We can support remote guest recordings through platforms like Riverside or Zoom, giving you the flexibility to create high-quality conversations, trainings, seminars, and webinars, even when everyone can’t be in the room.
How do I receive the recording assets after the session?
We will deliver all of your podcast recording assets within 24 hours of your podcast booking via Dropbox or Google Drive. Assets will remain available for download for 14 days before being removed from our Cloud storage.
Do you offer support after the session?

Can you upload my podcast directly to platforms like YouTube, Spotify, or Apple Podcasts?
Yes. We offer distribution support through select packages and add-ons so you can create, edit, and publish with less on your plate.
What do I need to bring with me for my booking?
Bring yourself, your talking points, your guests if applicable, and any brand assets, props, products, or wardrobe pieces you want included. We’ll take care of the production environment.
What size do I need to create my logo for the TV display?
For best results, send your logo as a high-resolution PNG in 3840x2160px to [email protected] ahead of your booking so The MK LAB team member can ensure it is ready for your session.
Do you offer consultation services?
Yes. We offer consulting for content strategy, podcast planning, messaging, content systems, production direction, distribution, and paid social media for clients who want to turn their content into a real growth asset.
