Family, nature and a sense of adventure brought us to Estes Park, the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park with an abundance of year-round activities.
Sharing the incredible nature that exists around one of our country’s most beautiful National Parks has been our pleasure since 2011 when we purchased our home.
Our family of five loves the outdoors, hiking, fishing, wildlife viewing and shopping in town. We reside in Yorktown Virginia, but love to escape to the peace, tranquility and beauty of the Colorado Rockies as often as we can.

This true Timber Cabin has 4 uniquely designed bedrooms all with designated bathrooms. All bedrooms have luxurious linens. The master suite has magnificent views, private deck and heated tile floors in the bathroom. The Elk Loft bedroom has a ensuite bath, king bed and futon. The Moose Room is on the Main Level and has a full ensuite bath with deep tub. It also has a reading nook and a rocking chair. The lower Level Moooo Room has a designated bath with walk in shower and glass doors. This bed room also has a view of the mountains and lake and has walk out access to the lower level patio with fire pit.
Extra pillows, blankets, and clothing storage (closet or wardrobe) are provided.

A quick note: as a guest, we’d also expect the same level of courtesy, and we would love it if you could complete a few quick tasks upon checking out. Please start a load of towels in the wash, but do not strip the bedding. Additionally, we kindly ask that you turn off all lights and the master bedroom A/C, lock all doors and windows, and follow any further check-out instructions provided in the manual.

What are the general house rules?
Our home is designed to comfortably accommodate a maximum occupancy of 8 guests, and we are happy to welcome both children and infants to the property.
To maintain a high standard for all visitors, we require the primary renter to be at least 25 years of age.
Please note that smoking is strictly not allowed on the premises, and the property is unfortunately wheelchair inaccessible. Lower level area would be the only area accessible for a wheelchair. No steps from the garage into the downstairs area of the home.
Additionally, while we love animals, pets are not allowed during your stay.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. This gives us time to prepare the house properly between guests.
Can I check-in early or check out late?
We do our best to accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs when we can, but availability depends on our booking schedule. We'll know for sure 72 hours before your arrival. If you'd like to extend your time here, just ask—we're happy to work with you when possible.
What safety precautions and measures are in place?
We prioritize your well-being and have implemented several safety measures throughout the property to ensure a secure stay. For your protection, the home is equipped with a fire extinguisher and a smoke detector.
To assist in any urgent situations, we provide immediate access to fire, medical, and police emergency contacts.
Additionally, the exterior of the property is well-lit for your security, and we utilize outdoor cameras, surveillance, and a noise monitor to maintain a safe and peaceful environment for all our guests.
Can I host an event or celebration at your home?
Small, low-key celebrations with your group are fine: birthday dinners, anniversary toasts, that sort of thing. We typically don't allow large parties, events, or outside guests beyond your booking party. If you're planning something specific, just run it by us and we'll go from there!
