Citrus Tax Advisory was created by Dave Johnson originally in 2016 along with two of his friends from Carter & Burgess, but when Dave took the job at Otak, the company went dormant until 2024. In 2024, the company has been reborn. With Dave's 33 years of experience in the Architectural and Engineering Industry, he wanted to create a company to serve CFOs and controllers working in the AE industry. Dave has 25 years of experience as a CFO in six AE firms and he is uniquely suited for assisting AE companies in achieving their objectives. Dave got his MBA from TCU in 2003 while working at Carter & Burgess in Fort Worth. He has an incredible depth of operational financial experience in the AE industry and has worked for eight well known AE firms. Dave is highly experienced and dedicated to solving problems and driving improved performance. He covers all aspects of a CFO or Controllers job function and focuses on strategic alignment to maximize results.
