Gutter & Downspout Clearing
Rain gutters and downspouts are supposed to move rainwater from your roof and discharge it away from siding, foundations, and basements. When gutters fill up with leaves, pine needles, or other debris, they need to be cleaned out so water can flow freely without causing damage to your home. Our gutter clearing service entails a blowing off of your roof to clear it of debris, a full clearing of your gutters, a flushing of any downspout clogs we find, cleanup of any mess created in the yard below, and we haul away and dispose of any collected debris for FREE! Most of our clients pair this service with an application of moss inhibitor to keep roofs moss-free. If you get on a twice-yearly plan for gutter cleaning, any service visits to deal with backups or clogs are included between cleanings for FREE.
Moss Removal & Control
Simply put, moss hurts your roof. The Pacific Northwest is a perfect climate for moss growth on roofs and when it thickens it lifts shingles, traps debris, draws pests and takes life away from your roof...not to mention it's ugly. Some people opt for high-pressure cleanings on their roofs, but WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS as it takes years of life off the roof and often negates your roof warranty. Also, those zinc strips on TV don't work. When it comes to removal, we believe that the less-invasive we can be, the better. We also see removal as a process of maintenance, rather than a 1-time event. Why let your moss grow to the point where it needs removal, only to do more damage to the roof with an expensive cleaning procedure when you could just keep it moss-free with regular maintenance that will save you money?
If you do want an immediate removal of any moss or algae, we offer roof scrubs for large moss removal and low-pressure SoftWash rinses for surface algae removal. However, when it comes to maintenance, we are great believers in low-impact and cost-effective services so we prefer to deal with moss in a systematic way over time through regular moss-inhibitor application. For your peace of mind, we use green roof treatments that are safe around your family and pets.
Concrete Cleaning & Treatment
Let's be real: concrete cleaning isn't rocket science, but that doesn't mean that it's fun or easy. Skip locating a pressure-washer to rent, the pickup and return trips, getting soaking wet in the cold and throwing your back out on a Saturday.
We've got the tools to get the job done faster, better, and with far less hassle on your end. Sit back, turn on the game, and let us handle the dirty work. If you have unique walkways, driveways, stairwells, or other concrete/rock areas needing to be kept clean and you don't want to use any pressure, we offer a biodegradable concrete treatment that works with the weather to remove surface grime and even stains.
Siding Cleaning
Cleaning your community's siding before exterior paint? Doing a full vinyl siding wash in your community to get rid of mold or mildew? Siding cleaning isn't just taking a pressure washer outside and going to town on the exterior of your building. We're familiar with siding cleaning on anything from small residential homes to full complexes with hundreds of units and everything in-between. Make sure to ask about package pricing! We often perform several of our services at one time and offer multiple-service discounts to save you money. We use several different methods, but SoftWash is our current go-to and recommendation. It's far more effective than classic pressure washing, and it's much, much quieter, saving residents headaches from invasive gasoline powered pressure washing machines for hours on end!
Window Cleaning
Whether you've got deck glass overlooking the puget sound, skylights, feature windows, or a sliding glass door, nothing makes the home sparkle quite like freshly cleaned windows. We can use several different methods to clean your community's windows, but we recommend a purified water filtration system that removes impurities from the water source, and minimizes streaking, leaving your windows sparkling. We can do screen removal, or lower our price to accommodate screen removal by residents. Squeegeeing and scraping sap, paint, or adhesive is also an option!
Gutter Repair
Gutter repair can be an annoying business for residents and property managers alike. Some vendors can clean gutters, but have to refer out repairs. However, MHS can generally accomplish any gutter repairs while onsite cleaning your community! We can rehang gutters that have come loose, reattach downspouts securely, patch gutters professionally using several different methods, install flashing to divert water flow, install additional downspouts or downspout elbows if required, and we've even begun to introduce gutter replacement, although this is still something we are working into our roster. If you need gutter repair or replacement, we can even offer this if we aren't currently servicing your gutters!
Dryer Vent Cleaning
Dryer vent cleaning is a very important part of maintaining your community. Letting dryer lint build up in pipes, or allowing it to clog vents is not only unsightly; it can actually be a dangerous fire hazard, and can cause power bills to skyrocket for residents. We recommend having your dryer vents cleaned yearly. We mostly service dryer vents from the inside, but exterior dryer vent cleaning is also possible. This is one of our newest service additions, so don't hesitate to reach out to us if your community could use their dryer vents cleaned!
