How We Start
Building a Legacy of Trust and Excellence
McKeever & Niekamp Electric was established in 1993 by Larry McKeever & Doug Niekamp. While not technically family, we set out to build a family-based business with the foundation of hard work, integrity, honesty and quality. During the first several years our focus was retail commercial, completing jobs throughout the tri-state area, while building a strong reputation and relationships that are still alive today. It has been that dedication to hard work, personal attention and a client first philosophy that we established in our beginning that has allowed us to grow into one of the most highly respected commercial contractors in Central Ohio.

With an experienced team of project managers, superintendents, journeymen and apprentices, McKeever & Niekamp Electric can put together the right team to complete any size project. Over the past several years, we have completed projects ranging from small retail stores and restaurants to large multi-family developments. At McKeever & Niekamp Electric we believe in putting the right experience on the right project. We have project managers and field team members that will meet and exceed your expectations for your next project. In 2016, our highlight projects include a multi-family complex along the river in Dayton, a new private school in downtown Columbus and a complete renovation of a warehouse and distribution center.
