Founded in 2025 in Frisco, Texas purpose-built to solve the installer shortage slowing down the state's residential battery revolution.

OUR STORY
Born from a gap no one else was filling.
Texas is in the middle of an energy transformation. Retail electric providers are deploying millions of dollars in residential battery storage but they kept running into the same wall: not enough certified electricians to install them. Building an internal team takes 6 to 9 months and $800,000 or more. Waiting wasn't an option.
Microgrid Broker was founded to solve exactly that problem. We built a two-sided platform that recruits, certifies, and coordinates licensed Texas electricians — and connects them with REP battery programs that need reliable installation capacity, fast.
We are not an electrical contractor. We are the infrastructure layer that makes large-scale battery deployment possible.

Do you work with all battery brands?
Yes. We coordinate certifications for multiple battery systems and can onboard electricians to any manufacturer's training program. Ask us about your specific brand.
Are you an electrical contractor?
No. We are an installation coordination platform. We recruit, certify, and manage licensed electricians on behalf of REP partners. We do not employ electricians directly.
What types of companies do you work with?
We work with Retail Electric Providers (REPs) deploying residential battery programs across Texas, and with licensed Texas electricians who want access to consistent installation work.
How quickly can you stand up an installer network in a new market
Typically 2–4 weeks from contract signing to first completed installation, depending on market size and target volume.
What does it cost for a REP to use Microgrid Broker?
We charge a coordination fee on completed installations. There are no retainers, or setup fees to get started and in many cases NO minimum volume to started.
I'm an electrician do I need previous battery experience to get started?
No prior battery experience is required. We provide brand-specific training as part of your onboarding. A valid Texas electrical license and current general liability insurance are required.
